Organized by our wholesaler in the region, RPS ANDINO, and the channel of RPS in both countries, NOVATECH Peru and PROVEDATOS, were organized during this month of June technological breakfasts on Industry 4.0 and RPS 2017 in the facilities of the Club Empresarial of San Isidro in Lima, Peru and the Holiday Inn Hotel in Quito, Ecuador.
At the conference, moderated by the president of RPS ANDINO, Jaime Ubidia, and the international director of the RPS channel, Joan Carles Libori, attended by representatives of important industrial companies from both countries, who were able to get a first hand experience of digitization of RPS customers in various industrial sectors.
Joan Carles Libori started both sessions focusing on the key aspects that this new digital revolution represents for the global industry, especially the European one, and on some strategies that currently clients of RPS are adopting in their deployment.
Aitor Guerra, responsible for channel services of RPS, subsequently dedicated a few minutes to show some of the major strengths of the new version of RPS to the attendees. Project management and engineering integration for the world of custom manufacturing or Engineering to Order (ETO), and quality planning and maintenance for the world of serial manufacturing (MTS). During the exhibition also showed new functionalities of the version as the interface HTML5 or the improvement in the generation of reports, KPI’s, etc …
Jaime Ubidia closed the presentations by analyzing from a local perspective the new scenarios facing the industry, concluding, after a detailed comparison between different types of solutions, that RPS consolidates in Ecuador and Peru as the only real ERP for the Industry.
Subsequently the debate began among the attendees in which professionals of the highest level participated in industries of different typology: Machinery Manufacturers, Engineering, Plastic, Food, etc … all interested in adopting technology as a means to achieve success in different Management aspects of their companies.
Attendees finally, and in conclusion, agreed on the need for the adoption of industry-specific ERP technology such as RPS as a key means for the competitive improvement of Andean manufacturing.
